In early December, I appeared on The Weather Channel discussing how pets are affected by
weather changes. In one of the segments, I discussed the best cold weather pet products.
One of these products that I promoted was Thundershirt. Thundershirt, a tight-fitting
garment which applies gentle, constant pressure to your dog's body, has a dramatic
calming effect for most dogs that are anxious or fearful of bad weather.
Not only does my dog, Rhone, wear the Thundershirt when the weather is bad but, she
wears one when we travel. After being stuck at the Air Tran terminal in JFK for about 6
hours last month, I was happy to reduce Rhone's stress with her Thundershirt.
Recently, I even suggested to my Twitter friend, Nicole, to use Thundershirt to assist her in
stopping her Dachshund from barking.
Until now, there hasn't been a well-designed, inexpensive pressure wrap used for dog
anxiety. So, if you don't win today's giveaway, buy a Thundershirt. At a cost of $36, you will
be pleased how much it helps your dog.
The first person who replies with their 411 (name, address and phone number) and
color choice will win Thundershirt.
